How to search for a job?
As an experienced professional, the process
begins with looking through our current job

How to apply?
Once you find a job of interest, you can apply by using the
online application form. Please submit your CV and related
documents in English. You will receive confirmation that we have
received your completed application. If you do not find a suitable
opportunity, you can create a ‘Job Search
Agent’ which will email you when a new job is posted matching
your search. Alternatively, from time to time we will post a
generic position (this will be clearly noted in the job
description) calling for candidates to submit their CV in
preparation for the next opportunity that may arise with
Trafigura.
What happens next?
Your application will be reviewed in line with
the relevant job requirements. We will always inform you as to the
outcome of your application, normally within two weeks. If your
application matches our needs, in most instances you will be
invited to one of our offices around the globe for a first
interview, either a face-to-face interview or a Video Conference
(VC) interview. At times the first interview will be conducted by
telephone. You may also be asked to complete online psychometric
tests as part of the recruitment and selection process. For us it
is important that candidates have a clear understanding of the
position, the company’s culture and our work environment. In order
to achieve this, you might be invited to attend a second and/or
third round interview.
What can I do to ensure my CV and application is best
positioned?
Here are a few suggestions:
- submit your CV and related documents in
English;
- include in your CV your academic achievements
and accomplishments;
- indicate your working experience: short
description of the role including job title(s), employer name(s)
and dates of employment(s);
- explain gaps if applicable and clarify your
current employment status;
