Warehousing
Trafigura transports over ten million metric tons of dry bulk
commodities and metals globally; logistics are a key part of our
business. We have in excess of 25 warehousing locations
across our bulk commodity business including Europe, Middle East,
Asia, South America and Africa.
Trafigura has been building up its logistics business since the
inception of the company. It now owns and operates many warehousing
facilities, with a combined storage area of over one million square
metres. These companies provide the group and third parties with
secured storage and other related services.
Currently the group owns four warehousing operators with one in
the pipeline:
Cormin Group
Cormin is based in Lima and operates warehouses in Peru, Mexico and
Chile. The primary function of Cormin is to service Trafigura's
ores and concentrates business. It offers storage, sampling and
blending services.
Congo Fret Ltd.
Congo Fret owns and manages a number of warehouse facilities in
Congo and Zambia. Transportation is a key part of the business,
managing trucking and rail deliveries in and out of Southern
Africa.
Nems
Nems is a UK based warehouse operator, specialising in third party
storage of refined metals. Nems has London Metal Exchange approved
locations in the UK, the Netherlands, Turkey, Singapore, Malaysia
and Korea.

Fangchen
This is awarehousing and blending operation under development at
the Fangcheng Port in Guangxi, China.
