Ben was appointed Global Head of the Oil Divison in 2023, having held the position of Co-Head of Oil since 2018. He was previously Head of Group Market Risk and prior to that, spent six years as Global Head of Crude Oil Department. He joined Trafigura in 2007.
Prior to joining Trafigura, Ben spent nearly 10 years with BP as a Crude Oil trader in the UK, the US, Australia and New Zealand.
Ben holds two degrees in Finance and Marketing from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
