Sipko Schat joined the Trafigura Board of directors in 2016. Previously he was a member of the Executive Board of Rabobank Nederland. Sipko was also responsible for the Wholesale Clients division of Rabobank International and managed the Wholesale Management Team.
A Dutch citizen, Sipko is a non-executive director of various companies including a member of the Board of Directors of Rothschild & Co Bank AG in Switzerland and Vice Chairman of the Board of OCI N.V.
Sipko holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands.
