These are managed independently as standalone organisations. They transact business within the Group and with third parties. This approach maximises productivity in all parts of the Group and ensures resources are allocated efficiently.

Galena Asset Management’s teams operate wholly independently of Trafigura, but benefit from the Group’s insights into global supply and demand.

Our Shipping and Chartering desk provides freight services to the commodity trading teams and trades freight externally with third parties. Shipping and chartering operations are managed out of Trafigura’s key regional offices.
