12 October 2011 - Trafigura Beheer B.V. (“Trafigura”), one of the world’s leading physical commodity trading companies, is pleased to announce the successful closure of the US$ 875 million syndicated facility (the “Facility”). The Facility was oversubscribed and so upsized from the initial launch target of US$700 million, and will be used both to refinance existing bank facilities and for general corporate purposes.
The Mandated Lead Arrangers and Bookrunners who formed the syndicate for the new facility are Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited, DBS Bank Ltd, Standard Chartered Bank, National Australia Bank Limited - Singapore Branch, Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.
The Facility comprises of two tranches, a 364-day Revolving Credit Facility with two 364-day extension options that can be exercised at the end of year 1 and year 2, and a three-year Term Loan Facility. Borrowers under this facility are Trafigura Beheer B.V. and Trafigura Pte Ltd.
