Ben Luckock is Global Head of Trafigura’s Oil division, one of the world’s largest physical oil trading operations, and a member of the company’s Executive Committee, contributing to the leadership and strategic direction of the Group. He has more than 30 years’ experience in commodities, including close to two decades at Trafigura, and is a respected voice in the industry.
Ben was appointed Global Head of Oil in 2023, having served as Co-Head of the division since 2018. He previously spent six years as Global Head of Crude Oil, helping to develop Trafigura’s crude oil trading strategy and expand its global presence. He joined Trafigura in 2007.
Before joining Trafigura, Ben spent nearly a decade at BP as a crude oil trader, working across multiple international markets including the UK, the US, Australia and New Zealand.
Ben holds degrees in Finance and Marketing from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
