Emma Stroud was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2023. Emma joined Trafigura in 2009 as part of the Company’s first graduate programme.
Emma previously spent six years as Global Head of Energy and Bulk Deals Desk. She has worked across various commodities and led the Deals Desk approach to IT change, overseeing the implementation and improvement of several trading systems.
Prior to joining Trafigura, Emma worked in FX operations for Goldman Sachs. Emma is a British national and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Bath.
