Across North America there are thousands of small-scale producers of liquid petroleum gas, many of them in remote locations.

Through our global reach and logistics know-how, we connect these producers to global markets via a rail network, cementing our position as one of the leading international suppliers of LPG.

LPG is a versatile fuel. It can be used in heating, cooking or in the production of ethylene, one of the materials required to manufacture plastic. It also has a lower emissions profile than other fossil fuels.

We now have a fleet of over 1,500 pressurised and 350 general purpose wagons that can aggregate supply from around 50 LPG gathering points across Alberta, Ontario and Quebec in Canada and Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and North Dakota in the US. We also collect LPG at the Repauno facility in New Jersey on the US East Coast.

At our Sawtooth Caverns storage joint venture in Utah, the largest of its kind in the US, we have the capacity to store up to 7m barrels of LPG, which we can then export to global markets from our two deep-water shipping berths in Texas.
