Trafigura aims for ammonia-fuelled vessels by 2030

Announcing its membership of the new First Movers Coalition, commodity trader Trafigura has outlined its commitment to own and operate six ammonia carriers which – if technically feasible – will operate on ammonia as their primary fuel source by the end of the decade and would account for around 18% of the company’s owned fleet.
