• Applying risk-based decision making to underpin transactions, with heightened attention to higher risk commodities and jurisdictions;
• Providing products with the sustainability specifications needed by customers and markets;
• Collaborating with counterparties and stakeholders across value chains to advance sustainable practices and commercial offerings.

Responsible logistics covers transport, pipeline and storage activities.

We focus on:
• Safe and secure movement, processing and storage of commodities; management of environmental impacts, and preparedness for unplanned events;
• Service providers are subject to due diligence and performance management processes, with increased oversight where risks are higher.

Responsible shipping is central to the international trade of commodities.

We focus on:
• Crew welfare, vessel integrity, emissions reduction, pollution prevention, and security;
• Upholding international safety and labour standards, prevention of exploitative practices, and operational due diligence, with closer scrutiny in higher-risk regions and for high-risk activities;
• Collaborating with partners across the maritime transport sector to advance sustainable regulations, technologies, and practices;
• Developing commercial offerings to meet the sustainability needs of our customers.

Responsible asset stewardship is about creating long-term value from our portfolio of owned and operated facilities, non-operated joint ventures, and minority equity investments.

We focus on:
• Providing a safe and healthy workplace, minimising environmental and climate impacts, and using resources efficiently;
• Maintaining the integrity of our assets, delivering high rates of reliability and utilisation, and managing process safety;
• Promoting opportunities and positive relationships in the communities we operate, providing mechanisms for raising and managing grievances, and respecting the rights and freedoms of those impacted by our activities;
• Developing products that meet the sustainability specifications needed by customers to expand the market access of our trading business.
