The consolidation of several European offices in 2011 and 2012 has resulted in Geneva becoming our main regional trading office in the region. Nestled near the Alps in the western corner of Switzerland on the French border, with an excellent international airport and easy access to ski resorts, the home of the Red Cross and many of the agencies of the United Nations, Geneva has long been known and admired for its cosmopolitan and multi-cultural atmosphere. The Geneva office embodies these elements, with over 450 staff and 50 nationalities occupying its 7 floors. Close to shops and restaurants in the vibrant city centre, the office is located above a shopping centre in the Eaux-Vives district.

The Geneva office has senior managers and specialists from across the Group, including Trafigura Trading, Impala Terminals, Puma Energy, Nala Renewables and the Mining Group. This provides an excellent opportunity for synergies to be developed across departments. Every day the office has a large number of internal and external visitors from across the world, resulting in a dynamic, fast-paced and highly international environment.
